In a move that is being viewed as poorly timed, due to the upcoming release of a new Muppet movie, the family of the Swedish Chef is attempting to sue Jim Henson Studios, and consequently Disney, for encouraging him to portray a stereotype of eccentricity, mania, and incomprehensible accents.

"The Chef's daughter stood up to present her case, and began holding up VHS tapes and DVDs of various Muppet films and fat documents and muttering incoherently and melodically. Then she started pounding on the desk and throwing the items into the air," said the judge. "Also, their lawyer was a chicken, which I wasn't crazy about having in my courtroom."

Key Weekly called the Chef's agent to see what his position on all this is, but the only person we could get on the phone was someone who kept telling bad jokes and asking if we were willing to come see his stand up.

The latest news received was that the judge is planning on throwing out the case.
