KeyWeekly.com is a blog that exists for the propose of displaying how incredibly easy it is to fabricate misinformation on the Internet and display it in a convincing fashion. In other words, it's all satire, all intentionally ironic, a huge practical joke intended to help people remember to be cautious about what they believe.
That's why most of the stories will be related to imaginary facts and statistics. Something about a set number or a specific detail feels very official and genuine. The thing is, such things are simple to make up.
It's all about verification. If you do a Google search on any of the stories here, you will immediately discover they are all fake. Unfortunately, very few people do this. Ever. With anything.
But, these stories are also intended to be entertaining. So, if you find one that you think is particularly funny or intriguing, feel free to share. Just try not to get too frustrated (or laugh too hard, depending on what kind of person you are) when many of your friends become confused and ask, "Is this really true?"
