57% of Information Online Generated by Preteen Males, Study Reveals

Most memes, quotes, facts, and political insights are created by young men who haven't even started shaving yet, a nation-wide study uncovered recently.

The results did not come as a huge surprise to most experts, partly because of the well-accepted belief that male logical reasoning has an initial peak around age 12. It then plummets upon reaching adolescence and does not return to viable levels until the mid-20's. "Boys who aren't spending most of their free time playing Call of Duty are working in Photoshop or Illustrator, creating the online experience we all know today," said Tori Fredrick, a market analyst who is often contracted by Google to do specialized research in this area.

The study was initially labeled as sexist, many groups arguing that the gender bias could not be so significant. While young women were found to also be contributors (accounting for nearly 30% of the remaining content, largely comprised of photos of themselves and their cats), the study revealed that most preteen girls are occupied with other things, such as homework assignments.
